Filadelfia’s School for Children with Special Needs

The School for Children with Special Needs is a national school for assessment and a regional school for children, young people and adults with epilepsy and/or other attention deficit disorders (ADHD). The School for Children with Special Needs participates in the assessment of children, young people and adults with epilepsy-related cognitive and psychosocial difficulties, while they are admitted to the Epilepsy Hospital.

The objective for the School for Children with Special Needs is to contribute to ensuring that people with epilepsy and ADHD have the most optimal living conditions in their own homes and in their respective social environment. The school has 11 employees: 6 teachers, 3 social workers (child and youth), 1 secretary and a school principal. All members of our staff are equally committed to creating the best possible framework for the children in our school. In addition to our own staff, we also have a number of doctors, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists and a speech therapist that are connected to our school.
